A new for 2011 "Consultation" to wreck Chichester

Another attempt to ensure a massive increase in population, in a record time, is proposed for Chichester City even though our analysis of actual need instead of the stimulated Demand shows how unneccessary it is.

Our letter to the County Council has highlighted the most noticeable degradation which will be caused

Chichester District Council as well as quoting previous Government housing targets instead of the proposed new "Localism" have enlisted "A Global Real Estate Adviser", who is dedicated to maximising the property market, to ensure they can continue the vast expansion of dwellings in the Chichester District, and preferably have them encircling the City, in defiance of the communities wishes.
Here is the unsuprising result

We are highly concerned at the excess development using smaller although significant increments now permitted by the stealthy blowing apart of the SPA (Settled Policy Area) sanctioned by the adoption of the Interim Policy Statement on Housing – Facilitating Appropriate Development by compliant non questioning councillors destroying this long held safeguard

Our concerns about CDC's motivation are not lessened by the decision of the Information Tribunal showing how bad the governance of the CDC is.
CDC have reinforced our concern by choosing to spend more residents' money appealing against the decision!
