The first image is taken from an early drawing of the Foul Water spine which is paralleled by the one for Surface Water.
The second image is taken from a drawing showing the Foul Water and Surface Water sewers at the North of the Estate. It may be noted that the Surface Water sewer is intended to drain the "Brandy Hole" which is in line with other ponds and the course of the stream previously running through the estate. However the outlet level from the "Brandy Hole" has been raised thus the water tends to run along the original line of the stream just below the surface
The third image is taken from a Title Deed plan showing the "proposed" French Drain. No evidence of this being built as been found and it is not known if it was ever intended to continue to the North.
The fourth image is an attempt to show a cross section of the main sewers and a typical French Drain in the relative proposed position .
The fifth image is taken from a 1960s Map showing the ponds either side of Brandy Hole Lane and the stream.
The sixth image is a composite map of the Stream and the built estate
