10th September 2008 - The County Council Local Committee meeting agreed:-
The implementation of an un-kerbed footway on the South side of the lane from the end of the existing footway to the access to Brandy Hole Copse in the 2008/09 programme of highway works, subject to the legal issues being resolved.
The Footway will be 1.2 metres wide marked by a raised white line and with buff coloured surfacing.
October 30th 2009 - After resolving a legal issue with one resident whose property includes part of the Entrenchment and disputed the highway boundary the footway has been established
It is not a large improvement and the introduction of a wall to the bank appears to have widened the bank and has lost some foot room in an emergency
