East Broyle Residents Association

"Your Community - Your Voice"

What is EBRA?

The East Broyle Estate is found in the north west of Chichester and comprises of 410 Houses on 17 roads, crescents and closes named after cathedral cities.

The East Broyle Residents’ Association was set up in 1986 and has fought many ‘battles’ since then on behalf of those living on East Broyle. An example of this are the large open spaces to the left and right of the entrance to East Broyle – The Green, which has been protected from plans for further building or car park provision by being registered as a ‘Village Green’.

We have an active residents’ committee with many others contributing in different ways such as distributing the Newsletter, monitoring the salt and grit bins, planting bulbs and watering and weeding the wall at the entrance to the estate (The Enhancement Group). We also have a Walking Group.

We have annual garage sales, bi-monthly coffee mornings and special Picnics on the Green. We hope to continue with these so any help you can offer would be gratefully received. Our committee has representatives for Highways, Neighbourhood Watch, Planning and Trees.

We keep in touch with you through postings on this website, our East Broyle Group facebook page and the Newsletter. EBRA is run for residents by residents. The same goes for the Newsletter which is published bi-monthly. If you want something included in the newsletter please email it to the Chair: chairman@eastbroyle.org.
